Billing Structure
I work with my clients to help determine which of the following billing structures works best:
Hourly rates: We can discuss whether an hourly billing rate is best for you. This option often works well for projects that are relatively predictable with respect to time expenditure.
Sliding Scale Rates: For nonprofits depending on annual budget.
Per project billing: If you wish to engage me for a specific project, we can decide upon a flat fee for the matter. In this way, you can better predict your legal costs and it can help you control your organization's legal budget.
Subscription Services: Engage Your Part-Time AttorneySM
I am able to be available for a period of time of your choosing. The minimum period of time for which subscription services are available is 1 month.
With a subscription, the client retains an “in-house” attorney at a fraction of the cost of a full-time employed attorney. Under this flexible approach, you receive the additional benefit of being able to decide what matters and issues take priority in your organization and what I will address. As part of this service, I can help you be proactive to identify areas of legal risks and minimize legal exposure.
Flexible Payment Options
Regardless of the billing structure used, I also offer the option of payment plans, which can further help you manage your legal budget.
